He joined Blackstone in 2010, ultimately serving as EMEA COO of Blackstone’s Insurance Solutions (BIS), where he led the setup of the group’s London office, the development of insurance investment products and advising on insurance related transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Mehenny served as Head of Product Development at Blackstone’s Hedge Fund Solutions (BAAM), where he led the product strategy committee and the launch of multiple strategic BAAM initiatives, including the group’s regulated and managed account platforms. Mr. Mehenny held prior roles in product and investment solutions at Ivy Asset Management, OLEA Asset Management and CBC Group.
Mr. Mehenny is based in London, UK. He graduated with a BSc in Physics (Honors) from the American University in Cairo and an MBA from London Business School.
